January is here and Snowdrops are pushing up through the
ground. The land has become sodden, December finished on
a wet and mild theme. This morning is bright, the air feels
several degrees colder, it is a proper winters day. For us in
Berkshire, no snow so far in 2022 although at the end of
November we did have a white blanket of crisp snow to greet
us. Early Snowdrops grow a little each day, if you look more are
appearing slowly, a few each day. So there is plenty to encourage
us to go out and search for these tough and fascinating winter
flowers. Longer days and Spring will be on the way. Enjoy your
Snowdrop Year. Best wishes!

At the end of March we shall close with the finish of the Snowdrop Season
and then return once more next year, thank you.
This year we plan to
attend Welford Park on these Fridays in February - 11 & 18. Pre-placed
Orders can be collected on these days and we shall have a range of specie
and hybrid Snowdrops available to purchase aswell as G. nivalis in

may happen as a result of restrictions. Lets hope this does not happen.
